Pothole & asphalt repairs.

Target damaged areas while understanding why the pavement has failed.

Your site, your scope

Define the work that is needed.

For estates managers, groundworkers, managing agents and factory or warehouse operators with localised damage in car parks, yards and private roads.

Localised defects

Identify the extent of potholes, broken edges and isolated asphalt failures rather than pricing from a single close-up photograph.

Repair boundaries

Define removal, preparation and reinstatement limits, including whether failed material beneath the surface needs attention.

Longer-term options

Compare targeted repairs with resurfacing or reconstruction where defects are widespread or repeatedly return.

What determines the specification?

The cause and depth of failure, water ingress, base condition and loading determine the repair. A surface patch cannot correct an unsuitable foundation or unresolved drainage. Repair material and compacted thickness must suit the actual pavement and specification.

Project assessment

What we need to assess the scope.

  • Wide and close photographs of each defect, with location and approximate extent.
  • Whether defects recur, collect water or lie on turning and loading routes.
  • Access restrictions, required timescale and vehicle movements during the work.
Site interfaces

What needs to be resolved.

  • Separate the repair area from pedestrian, forklift and vehicle movements.
  • Identify nearby drainage, covers, kerbs and buried-service constraints.
  • Agree removal, waste handling and reopening requirements. Repair depth and materials depend on pavement condition and loading.

Pavement specification depends on loading, ground conditions, drainage and the complete pavement design. Scope, access arrangements and programme need to be agreed for the individual project.
